A Young Modi

Here is the young Modi ! This is probably the only photo of Mr Modi on internet in which he looks different than his normal style. The photo must have been taken in the 80s when he joined the political wing of RSS i.e. BJP.
In 2001 , when Mr Keshubhai Patel was the Chief Minister of Gujarat , due to his falling health and illness , BJP was looking for a replacement , then Mr Modi first came to light. He was to be appointed the deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat as suggested by Mr LK Advani and other senior leaders of BJP . But Mr Modi said no to their proposal , he said " Either I will be completely responsible for Gujarat or not at all" .
